About Me

RANCHER

Let’s Live, Love, Laugh!

Spending most of my life learning how to be a Rancher turned Farmer has created a woman who is quite a bit behind on the tech y side of things.Working to fix that. I am a good mother, companion, help mate and still trying to keep my own personality.

As I have gotten older I find my goals are changing and that time is slipping by. I have things I want to do, but have had no time to do them. The children are gone now and the empty nest is a killer. I am now looking forward to the ride of this new chapter in my life.

So I am going to share my stories, travels, likes, dislikes with everyone in the hopes that they may learn from my mistakes, laugh with me, cry with me and maybe in the end be able to relate even partially to this life.

I have lived on a ranch or farm most of my life. It is a good  life. Teaches you so many things that are taken for granted. I have raised 5 children. There is no life, like this one for kids. They love animals, learn to work hard, find out where our food comes from. Learn to be responsible for their actions and it prepares them for life.

CONTRACTOR

Still married to a wonderful man. He is a contractor. You should see this rancher try and become a carpenter. Not only can I not talk the talk. I can’t walk the walk. Many times hubby just leaves me scratching my head over what he said.

We are beginning to travel, with all the kids gone, he has slowed down some. Work is loosing some of the pull it had when the kids were home. It has been fun to work together, play together and now explore our dreams together. Life is good!

This blog is to share my life’s experiences and hopefully allow you to enjoy the joys I have had. May we continue to learn what to and not to do.

The transition from a very private person with nothing on the internet to baring my life for the world to see is more than a little bit intimidating.

I want to try my hand at exploring the world from the WWW. I invite you to join me in my Memories, Journeys and watch the passing of time.

There are many I’s in this story but I figured it wouldn’t make sense if I said you.

You all have a happy and great day.

Valerie
